The Giptis manifesto is the following : "Create in Marseille a research institute of medicine of "the future" dedicated to rare diseases. Its ambition is to become a scientific center of innovation starting from the knowledge of the mechanisms involved in rare diseases to serve the therapeutic development and development of new approaches to care for patients with diseases more "common". The brief was to make identify the project/brand strongly by the actors in the health field and the general public levels: local, regional, national, Euro-Mediterranean and international. Giptis wanted to convey the values and ambition of the project and promote fundraising with major sponsors, businesses and public authorities sponsorship, investment, debt and public subsidies. Prof. Nicolas Levy, internationally renowned geneticist, director of the Department of Medical Genetics at the Timone children (AP-HM) in Marseille, is leading the GIPTIS project, which will open at the Timone, in Marseille. The architectural project will be achieved by Willmote by 2019. We have then build a visual identity from scratch, taking DNA forms and meaningfull colors to create a logo both from science and Mediterranean inspiration.
